Chandler Alexander Hewell
April 22, 1924 - June 9, 2012
Chandler Alexander Hewell, 88, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ann Hewell; brother L.D. Hewell; and sister Helen Webb and her husband Johnson.
He is survived by daughters Ann Hewell-Wormer and her husband Tony of Peachtree City, and Jan Hewell of Albany, GA; grandson Jay Wormer of Peachtree City; brother Robert E. Hewell and his wife Olivia of Largo, FL; sister-in-law Gurvis Hewell of Atlanta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the North Fayette United Methodist Church with the Reverend Doug Burrell officiating. Mr. Hewell will lie in state at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Fayette United Methodist Church, 847 New Hope Rd, Fayetteville GA 30214
