He is survived by his spouse Cecilia Barrera; daughter Mary Taylor; son John Barrera; granddaughter Christy Kendzierski; granddaughter Katie Taylor; grandson Nick Taylor; granddaughter Jessica A. Barrera; granddaughter Julie A. Barrera; granddaughter Jennifer A. Barrera; grandson Jonathan E. Barrera and grandson Joseph E. Barrera.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. Mr. Barrera-Amador will lie in state from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the service.
