Obituary for Priscilla "Randy" Jones

Priscilla “Randy” Jones, 81, of Fayetteville, GA died after battling several health issues, with her family by her side. She graduated from Misawa High School, Japan in 1953 and received her nursing degree from Clayton State University in 1972.

Priscilla is survived by her husband, Cecil Paul, the love of her life, whom she met when he entered the Army in 1954. She leaves three children, Michael, Elizabeth and Timothy and six grandchildren, Ami, Heidi, Eric, Samuel, T.J. and Jamison. She is also survived by her siblings, Josephine Culver, Rebecca Clark, German Culver and Charles Allen. During her husband’s military career, she lived in Burma, England, Germany and Saudi Arabia. She was passionate about travel and visited most European countries, as well as Petra in Jordan, Taj Mahal in India, pyramids in Egypt, safari in Kenya and the list goes on. Her main hobby was sewing to include needlepoint and knitting. All of her pieces were works of art and will be forever cherished. When we told her that a great-grandchild was on the way, her comment was, “I need to get to sewing then!”

Her funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 6, 2017 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville, GA, with Father Vu officiating. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, GA.
