Obituary for Nora Priscilla Rogers

Nora Priscilla Rogers, 69, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, of Riverdale, Ga passed away October 23, 2017. She was born in Cedartown, GA on June 19, 1948 to the late James Keck, Jr. and Ruth Virginia Elsberry Keck.

Nora is survived by her husband, Mr. Owen D. Rogers; son, Anthony “Tony” (Shawna) Rogers; daughter, Kim Rogers; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rogers, Miliegh (Michael) Rabun, Wendy Carlyle, and Mindy (Phillip) Keenan; brothers, James “Kenny” Keck, and Glenn (Jennie Lulu) Keck; brother-in-law, Steven Rogers; sister-in-law Jo Elkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Kenwood First Baptist Church, Fayetteville with Pastor Lynn McClain and Dr. Darrell Hayes officiating. She will lie-in-state beginning at 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM. at the Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville The family will receive flowers, or donations sent in her name to Kenwood Baptist Church Missions Program, http://kenwoodfbc.org
