Obituary for Mary Lesa Lynn Fenton

Mary Lesa Fenton, 61, of Fayetteville, GA passed away June 30, 2017. Lesa was born July 16, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Edwin L. Emery and the late Imogene Grant Emery. She was the youngest of eight children, having three sisters and four brothers. She was a proud Army veteran who served her country for six years and finished her career at the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Atlanta, GA.
Lesa was artistically talented and an avid reader. You could always catch her enthralled in a book or creating art through sewing, crocheting, painting, drawing and other beautifully created crafts.
She will be greatly missed and always be remembered for being the wonderful person we all knew and loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Shonda Emery, and brothers, Gary Emery and Timothy Emery.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James D. Fenton, son, Christopher Fenton and daughter-in-law, Ivy Fenton, daughter Heather Mosher and son-in-law, John Mosher, daughters, Jennifer Fenton and Jamie Fenton and a grandson whom we expect his arrival September 2017. She is also survived by her sisters Yvonne, Joyce, and Nicki as well as her brothers Dennis and Monty and her beloved dogs and the many grand-dogs that she loved to babysit.
A service will be held at Carl J. Mowell & Son funeral home in Fayetteville, GA, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Psalm 124:7
