Obituary for Louise Belvin Williams

Louise Williams, 88, of Union City and previously East Point, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017. She was born on June 20, 1929 to Edward and Alma Belvin. She was married to the late Herbert Otis Williams. She was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church in East Point, where she held many positions of service to her church. Mrs. Williams was very hard-working in various endeavors, such as PTA President and Pink Lady at South Fulton Hospital. She was Treasurer of both the Baptist Towers and Colonial Hills Homeowners’ Association.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Marshall Williams; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Greenway of Fayetteville; her daughter, Betsy Krasnoff (married to Bruce Krasnoff) of Woodstock; her daughter-in-law, Donna Jenkins (widow of Marshall Williams) of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren, Brent Williams, Chris Williams, Stacie Huelsbeck, Shawn Biffle, Rusty Biffle, Josh Krasnoff and Tyler Krosnoff; ten great-grandchildren; and her brother, Harold Belvin.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Rev. Darwin Caldwell officiating. Burial will at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Williams.
