Obituary for Judith Glosson Stamps

Judith Glosson Stamps, of Winder, formerly of Senoia, passed away on July 18, 2017. She was 68 years old.

The beloved daughter of Effie Tate Glosson and Harold Albert Glosson, Judy was born on April 16, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated high school in 1967 from College Park High School, College Park, Georgia. She married her first husband and moved to Haralson, Georgia, where she raised her two daughters. Judy worked at Farmer's and Merchant's Bank in Senoia, Georgia, and also the Senoia Post Office. She retired from being a rural mail carrier for the town of Brooks, Georgia in 2006.

Judy was a Christian who loved studying the bible, teaching Sunday School, researching family genealogy, cooking, and spending time with her grand-children. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Senoia, Georgia.

Surviving are her husband, Fletcher Joe Stamps of Winder; her two daughters, Amy Young of Canton and Angela Neill of Gay; and ten grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel. Burial will be at Senoia City Cemetery, Senoia, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30-11:00 AM prior to the service.
