Obituary for James Russell (Rusty) Vinson

James Russell (Rusty) Vinson of Fayetteville passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the age of 37. He was born in Atlanta, GA on September 29, 1080. Rusty was a lover of classic Chevys, Georgia Bulldogs and the Braves. He was a great trivia player where he played at the Hooters in Newnan. He had worked at Lowe’s in Newnan for 10 years before his illness. He was loved by his co-workers.

Rusty was a beloved son, brother, uncle and nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Vinson, and is survived by his mother, Shirley Vinson; his sister, Jennifer Hill (Tom); his nephews, T.J., Josh and Matt; his niece, Katie; and his uncle, Doug Lewis. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at Hooters in Newnan from 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018, which would have been Rusty’s 38th birthday.
