Obituary for Harold "Gene" Bryant

Mr. Harold E. “Gene” Bryant, age 72, of Newnan, died Friday, March 10, 2017.
A native of Newnan, Georgia, Mr. Bryant was born on December 9, 1944, the son of the late Harold “Pete” and Lurlie Williams Bryant. Mr. Bryant served as a volunteer for the Peachtree City Fire Dept and was an Advanced Paramedic. He was retired from Union Camp as an IT Director. He also volunteered as a police officer at the Villages in Florida. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Cheryl English Bryant in 2010 and by a granddaughter, Lindsey Hill in 1995. He was a member of the South Crest Church of Newnan.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carol Curcio Bryant; two daughters, Stacey Bryant Hill and her husband Lance E. Hill and Cindy Bryant Brown and her husband Alan D Brown; one step-son, Don Reisinger; grandchildren, Lance E Hill, Jr. (Meghan Colglazier), Aaron Bryant Brown, Daisey Elizabeth Hill, and Chris Reisinger.

Funeral services for Mr. Bryant will be conducted on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home in Peachtree City, with Pastor Chip Gordon officiating. Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The following will serve as active pallbearers: Tom and Micah Whitney, Brandon Greene, Steve Ansley, Trent Pereia, and Brandon Petrie.
