Obituary for Gladys Mann Rogers

Gladys Mann Rogers, of Atlanta, passed away February 11, 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of Brookhaven United Methodist Church.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Asa (Jack) Rogers. She is survived by her son, Phil Rogers and his wife, Jill, of Brookhaven; daughter, Lynn Britton and her husband, Rick, of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Amanda Hall and her husband Tracy, Lauren Sheets, Ann Rogers, Steven Rogers; great-grandchildren, Jasper Sheets, Lolah Sheets, and Marlowe Hall; and brothers, Robert Mann and Ralph Mann.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Anthony Mann and Rev. Skip Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Riverdale. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Donations can be made in her memory to St. Joseph’s Indian School, PO Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326 or Brookhaven United Methodist Church, 1366 North Druid Hills Road, Atlanta, GA 30319.
