Obituary for George Raymond Mask

George Raymond Mask, 88, of Fayetteville passed away on June 13, 2018. He was born on February 19, 1930 in Fayetteville, GA to the late Louise and Webb Mask, Sr. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Eastern Airlines and also from Army-Air Force Exchange Service.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Olga Smith Mask; his parents and his brother, Dan Mask. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Ann Smith and husband of Sharpsburg; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister, Lucy Mask of Fayetteville; his brother, Webb Mask, Jr. of Fayetteville; his sister-in-law, Marsha Mask; and niece and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Philip Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Inman United Methodist Church Cemetery, Inman, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday evening, June 15, 2018.
