Obituary for Franklin Delano Jackson

Franklin “Frankie” Delano Jackson, 78, of Fayetteville passed away on March 26, 2018 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 21, 1939 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the late Pedro and Juanita Jackson. He was a retired sheet metal mechanic at Delta Air Lines. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Frankie is survived by his wife, Elsa Jackson; his daughters, Liza and Rick Rosenberg, Diana and Robert Russell, Lori and Aaron Guss and RaeLynn Johnson; nine grandchildren, Monica, Jordan, Jessica, Lauren, Kyle, Brianna, Lyndsie, Jackson and Cameron; four great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Julian, Jayden and Tre; and his brothers, Pedro L. Jackson, Eduardo Jackson and Vicente Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family lovingly requests contributions to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.

There will be a private family memorial service at a later time.
