Obituary for Carol Dooley Brown

Carol Dooley Brown, 76, of Fayetteville passed away September 4, 2018. She was born in Harris County, Georgia on October 31, 1941 to the late James and Madge Butts.

Carol was preceded in death by her husbands, Wallace Dooley and Reuben Brown and her parents. She is survived by her children, Scott (Terry) Dooley of Brooks, Shawn (Terry) Thaxton of Zebulon, Stephanie Lally of Peachtree City, Chip Brown of Greenville, SC, and ReuAnn (Brad) Annis of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren, Kristi (Dennis) Connelly of Hiram, Matthew Dooley of Brooks, Journey Tolbert (Jack Bell) of Peachtree City, Jansen Tolbert of Zebulon, Rhianna Thaxton of Zebulon, McKenzie Bonner, Ashtyn Lally, Addie-Kate Lally of Peachtree City, and Tyler Annis of Fayetteville; great-grandchild, Brooks Bell of Peachtree City; and brother, Mike (Gay) Butts of Woodbury.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
