Janie Davis

Janie Davis, 45, a kind and gentle angel, was taken from us before her time on June 26, after an extended illness. She was born to Marilyn and Robert Heberlein in Buffalo, NY on January 3rd, 1964. At age 13 she moved to Peachtree City where she spent the rest of her life. She attended Fayette County High School and became a Cosmetologist. Janie was a very gifted and caring hair stylist. She truly loved her work and the difference she was able to make in the lives of those she served and treasured her devoted following of clients. She was blessed with a loving Family and a close circle of devoted friends and had a lifelong love affair with all animals. She also loved reading, gardening and travel. She has now joined her beloved dog, “Spice Girl.” She married Bob Davis in 1985, and although later divorced the couple remained very close friends. She is survived by her children Kyle and Karly Davis of Peachtree City, mother, Marilyn Heberlein and friend Peter Anderson of Jensen Beach, Fl.; father, Robert Heberlein and wife Thelma of Tucker, Ga. and sister Delynn “Dee” Keeton and husband Bill of Atlanta, Ga. A memorial service will be held Thursday July 2nd, 2009 at 6:00PM at the Chapel of Carl J Mowell & Son (Peachtree City) with Rev Betty Castellani officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 6PM. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Davis Children Educational Fund at 135 Woodchase Court, Atlanta, Ga. 30319 or the Fayette County Animal Shelter, 1262 Hwy 74 S. Peachtree City 30269. Marilyn, Delynn, Bill, Peter and Robert. I am so sorry to hear of Janie's passing. She was always kind and friendly to me. Her passing is so very sad. I am pleased to have known such a gifted person. I recall her sharing details about various plants and animals. I am truly sorry to hear that this gifted person was lost as such a young age. May she now rest in peace. We were so happy to finally have seen Jainie and Kyle at our family reunion last summer in Buffalo. We hadn't seen Janie since we visited Peachtree when she first moved there.
