Melissa - I was with Matt, Tony and Brent when you gave him a "hall pass" to hang out with the guys a few weeks ago. Those days of fishing and getting to know Matt were the highlights of my year. Matt and I spoke about common struggles in life, and the joy of having God and family behind us. He loved you and Ella quite a lot, and I want to thank you for giving me the chance to meet and call Matt my friend. My wife and I have been praying for you every day since hearing about Matt's passing. He has left Ella a wonderful legacy of fighting and winning, and trusting in God through adversity.
