William Aaron "Woody" Woodruff

William Aaron “Woody” Woodruff, 80, of Fayetteville, died November 12, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents John H. and Florence Elizabeth Woodruff and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife Vera “Jenny” Woodruff of Fayetteville; son Ron (Brenda) Woodruff of Fayetteville; grand daughters, Amy (Jeremy) Dixon of Fayetteville, Brooke (Todd) Meyers of Fayetteville and Anna Woodruff of Fayetteville; great grand children, Hayden Dixon, Walker Dixon, Camille Meyers and Quinn Meyers of Fayetteville.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 1:00 PM at National Heights Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Steve deClaisse-Walford, Rev. Dr. Bill Scarbrough and Rev. Hank Rast will officiate. The body will lie in state at 12:30 PM. Interment Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, November 14, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home in Fayetteville. (770) 461-5475. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to National Heights Baptist Church at 103 Old Norton Road in Fayetteville, GA 30215.
