I was shocked to learn of Verdo's passing, and will miss our discussions of baseball, and Tech and UGA football. He was especially proud of his baseball card and autograph collection, and always stopped by the pharmacy to tell me of his latest pickup. I was devastated to hear the news of Verdos passing. It seems like only yesterday that he and I were running track at Columbus High School. During our years together at Georgia Tech I learned just how passionately Verdo approached the things he truly cared about. He will be missed but not forgotten. My condolences go out to his family. jim alexander on 10/13/2008 at 3:23 PM

We wish to extend our deepens sympathy to the Harrell family. Based on the character of his son (our coworker Randall), Mr. Harrell must have been quite a man. May God bless and comfort you all. W/E Night Shift, Emergency Department, Northside Hospital. Andy Powell on 10/14/2008 at 8:17 AM
