Mary Lou Flemister, 97, of Fayetteville died July 10, 2008. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church and was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by husband Fielding McGhee Flemister, Sr, daughter JoAnn Gaylor, brother Horace K. Treadwell, sister Ruth Ross, and sister Doris Treadwell. Mrs. Flemister is survived by son Fielding McGhee Flemister, Jr; daughter Mary Evelyn and Virgil Merritt Jr; son-in-law Louis Gaylor; grandchildren Fielding McGhee Flemister III, Julie Ann Thomas, Kathy Lynn Jones, Michael Louis Gaylor, Pamela Sue Dolden, Virgil Thurston Merritt, Susan Diane Knight, and Brian Keith Merritt; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of C.J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Tom Daughtery officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Forest Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Carl J.
