William E. BaconJuly 7, 2008Mr. William E. Bacon, 79, of Jacksonville, FL, Formerly of Peachtree City, passed away July 7, 2008. Mr. Bacon was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the United States Marine Corps. He was a graduate of the Southern College of Pharmacy at Mercer University. He opened Peachtree City Pharmacy in the early 1980’s and retired from Kroger Pharmacy 4 years ago. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Peachtree City First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Dorothy “Dot” Bacon; daughter, Karyl and Rick Squibb, Son, Darrell Bacon; grandchildren, Ashley Squibb, Kristyn Squibb, Shayne Bacon.
Funeral services will be held Friday July 11 at 2 PM in the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home with Pastor John Webber officiating. Interment will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 6 until 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
