Joe Powell

Mr. Joe Powell of Hogansville, formerly of Fayetteville died March 18, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Pope Powell of Hogansville; Children, Jennifer Price and her husband Curtis of Hampton; Gina Thomas and her husband Steve of Fayetteville; Joel Powell and his wife Jessica of Hogansville; 10 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; Brothers, Dr. Lacy Powell and his wife Mary Elsie of Fayetteville; James Powell of Union City; Sisters-in-law, Brothers-in-law, Nieces and Nephews.  

Funeral services will be held Friday March 21, 2008 at 3:00PM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with remains placed in state at 2:00PM. Rev. James Calhoun, Rev. Roger Powell and Rev. Charles Grovenstein will officiate. Interment churchyard.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
