Gladys Carson

         Mrs. Gladys Carson, 78, of Fayette County, died February 6, 2010. She was the longtime owner and operator of Jackson General Store. She is survived by her husband Billy Carson; two daughters Debora Carson of Fayette County and Vickie & John Zyla of Baltimore, MD; seven grandchildren; two sisters Doris & Ed Futyma of Huntingtown, MD and Judy & Bruce Bates of Churchton, MD.

          Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Jack Lanham will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

          In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
